The center serves children with and without disabilities, age six weeks to kindergarten, in an inclusive, fun and educational environment. The children not only benefit from the many amenities available at our camp location such as an indoor aquatic center, horseback riding, playgrounds, fishing, etc., but they also receive a wonderful education from our certified preschool teacher and graduate from the center kindergarten ready.

Perhaps the most important education the children receive at Easterseals Child Development Center is to look past differences and see the beauty and potential in ALL people. We find that the children who attend the center who have disabilities hit milestones faster because they are immersed with their typically developing peers, and the children who are typically developing go off into the world with kind and accepting hearts.

Nolan lives with his parents, David and Jessica, his brother and best friend Landon, and his cat Nia. They enjoy going on walks, bike rides, playing at parks and splash pads, spending time with grandpa and grandma, boating and reading. At the CDC Nolan loves swimming.

His teacher Miss Christina says, “Nolan has developed the best personality and when he runs in to school and gives you one of his big hugs, it is the best feeling ever. He is the sweetest little boy and his big smile is completely contagious and lights up any room.”
